100% Chardonnay. Colour: Pale straw with green tints. Aroma: Fresh peach and quince with subtle hints of native wild flowers and lemon myrtle. Palate: Zesty and refreshing with generous stone fruit flavours and fine creamy texture. The palate is underpinned by fresh citrus acidity and savoury, grapefruit finish. Heggies Vineyard Cloudline Chardonnay is named after the foggy conditions of autumn and winter in the high-altitude Eden Valley, a region ideal for premium Chardonnay. The wine is crafted from select blocks featuring original Burgundian clones and newer selections, and after fermentation, it matures for 7 months in French oak barriques, offering a bright, fruit-driven character with a balanced acidity.
