Condrieu Vernillon

Condrieu de Jamet showcases the typical characteristics of the appellation, including lily, fresh peach, and rose aromas. However, it also offers a unique twist with a racy mineral and spicy touch. On the palate, the wine exhibits excellent balance and acidity, which beautifully counterbalances its rich and savory texture. In 2015, Les Jamet acquired a vineyard plot in Condrieu, giving rise to the cuvée "Vernillon" made from Viognier grapes grown on granite soils in Vernon and Côte Chatillon. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation for this wine takes place partially in barrels and partially in vats. This combination of fermentation vessels allows for a diverse range of flavors and characteristics to develop in the wine. The wine is aged 50% in oak barrels and 50% in stainless steel vats, further enhancing its complexity. ABV 14.5%
