The 2016 Margaux de Brane is a deeply colored wine with a purple hue. It offers an open and inviting nose with ripe Cabernet aromas dominated by black currants and a medium level of oak influence. The rich and opulent fruit character of the wine may slightly mask the presence of wood. On the palate, it showcases excellent concentration and sweetness, with a long, charming, and juicy character. The tannins are of high quality, contributing to the overall structure and balance of the wine. The vineyard, spanning 91 hectares, consists of vines with an average age of 30 years, and they are planted in silico-gravelly soil. The wine undergoes aging for 16 months, with 40% new oak barrels, 40% barrels previously used for one vintage, and 20% barrels previously used for two vintages. After the final blending, it spends an additional 4 months in tanks. ABV 13%
