Exhibits deep and intense red color with ruby tints. On the nose reveals ripe fruits and cherry aromas, followed by a dominant freshness accompanied by notes of cassis and spices. On the palate, the wine showcases a generous attack, a well-defined mid-palate with integrated and silky tannins, and a refreshing, mouth-watering finish. This wine is sourced from 10 small plots, including 6% of Premier Cru vineyards. The climate and soil are characterized by a clay and limestone composition, with clay predominantly present. The grapes are carefully hand-harvested and sorted to maintain their integrity. Before alcoholic fermentation, a cold pre-fermentation period of 4 to 6 days enhances the extraction of phenolic components. The grapes undergo partial destemming and then macerate for 15 days with regular pigeages and/or pumping-over to intensify tannins, perfumes, and color. Alcoholic fermentation occurs with natural yeasts, and after maceration, free-run and press wines are aged separately. The aging process takes place for 60% in traditional Burgundian 228-liter barrels and 40% in stainless steel vats for 9 months, with around 10% new barrels. Finally, the wine spends an additional 7 months in stainless-steel vats. ABV 14.5%
