Cornas Les Vires

'Les Vires' is the name attributed to this Cornas by Cuilleron, prior to being named after the lieu-dit (named vineyard) 'La Cotes'. The vines are planted on a hillside in the shape of an amphitheater in the south of the appellation on a bed of granite and saprolite. The majority of the vines here were planted in 1911.
