Château Daugay

Château Daugay and its’ vineyards were formerly part of the neighbouring Château Angelus in St. Émilion. The latter featured prominently in the movie Casino Royale where Bond and Vesper are seen enjoying a bottle of the 1982 vintage. For the last 50 years Daugay has operated as an independent winery, under the management and ownership of the Grenié de Boüard family (who remain co-owners of Angelus). The latest generation of the family and manager at Château Daugay, Thierry Grenié de Boüard is not afraid to defy the norm. Farming at Daugay is organically certified.
