More fine than corpulent, Champs-Gain is a subtle wine with citrus notes that are fresh and lively. Over time, it delicately reveals notes of very ripe yellow-fleshed fruit. 30 year-old vineyard, 0.30ha. Right on top of the hill of Puligny-Montrachet, this steeply-sloping plot has very limestone, rocky soil. Fermentation in barrel with natural yeast. Ageing for 12 months with 20% new barrels. ABV 12.5%
