Mt. Veeder Napa Chardonnay

At the base of Mount Veeder lies the distinctive winegrowing region of Los Carneros, where the cool breezes and daily fog from San Pablo Bay, combined with the region’s clay loam soils, create ideal conditions for cultivating Chardonnay. In this environment, the grapes ripen slowly and evenly, resulting in wines with exceptional expressiveness. When Mount Veeder decided to release a Chardonnay, it was essential that it come from Carneros, but also be uniquely their own. After exploring the area, they chose fruit from a vineyard whose Chardonnay grapes perfectly reflect the mountain style of Mount Veeder. The final wine is rich with layers of fruit, balanced by a bright, lively acidity.
