Yalumba

Yalumba are celebrating 175 years in 2024. Established in 1849, they are the oldest family-owned producing winery in Australia, under the tenue of the Hill-Smith family. It's a remarkable feat for this Barossa icon, a testament to their ability to produce outstanding wines at a variety of price tiers, and their ability to continually innovate.

Such innovations include the formation of the Barossa Old Vine Charter, the onsite Yalumba Cooperage (unique in the Southern Hemisphere), and Yalumba Nursery, a vital source of vine material for the wider industry. Furthermore, the groundwork laid out by their Sustainability is class leading.

The Hill-Smiths are also part-owners of Radford Dale.
