Bourgogne Passetoutgrain

Passetoutgrain is an age old classic of Burgundy, and quite rare to come across here in South Africa. The name translates to "pass all the grapes," originating from a historical field blend technique. A blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, here co-planted and around 50/50 representation in the wine. 

These are delicious young, or with a few years in bottle. Produced by a top name in the Cote de Nuits.
