Riverland Merlot

100% Merlot. This wine presents a maroon color with purple highlights. Aromas of chocolate, plum, and red berries mingle with subtle cedar and spices. Medium-bodied and tightly structured, the wine bursts with vibrant plum and red cherry flavors. The finish is generous, rich, and persistent, displaying soft and velvety tannins that enhance the supple palate. Late winter and spring rains nourished the canopies, while a mild summer with cool nights allowed for the development of intense aromatics and flavors. Fermented in a mix of static and rotary fermenters under warm conditions for six days, the wine achieves a harmonious balance between tannin structure and retained fruit flavors. ABV 13.5%
