Château Angélus presents a dark garnet color with shimmering black jade reflections. The aromas on the nose are captivating, featuring small black fruits like blackcurrant, blueberry, and blackberry, complemented by hints of Lebanese cedar wood, dark chocolate, and woody vanilla spices. On the palate, the wine is expansive and well-balanced, with a silky texture showcasing flavors of jammy black fruits and woody vanilla spices. The tannins are prominent and firm. The vineyards are situated on the southern slope of Saint-Emilion, featuring clay-limestone soils on the upper part and clay-sand-limestone soils on the hillside. The wines are aged in French oak barrels for 18 to 22 months. ABV 14%
