Corton Grand Cru

The 2020 Corton Grand Cru is a blend of Bressandes, Perrière and Maréchaude with 50% whole bunch. It has a wonderful bouquet, so pretty with sparkling red cherries and crushed strawberry fruit, a touch of orange sorbet. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, taut and fresh, very prices with a mineral-driven finish. I doubt that a former hairdresser has ever made such a delicious and classy Corton. In the cellar the 2020 Corton Grand Cru is a blend of Bressandes, Perrière and Maréchaude with 50% whole bunch. The wine was matured in 100% French oak barriques, 30% of which were new, for 14 months. The wine was racked only once before it was bottled unfined and unfiltered. ABV 13.5%
