St Joseph Empreinte

This wine captivates with its fragrant stemmy aroma, accentuated by peppercorn seasoning and layers of black fruit. In its youth, it boasts bright black coulis fruit flavors that evolve beautifully with bottle aging, maintaining tension on the palate. Sourced from 25-year-old vines on south-east facing hillsides at 300m altitude, growing in granitic basement and sandy soil. After pneumatic pressing, it undergoes malolactic fermentation in vat (20%) and barrels (80%). Aged for 12 months in barrels, it achieves an ABV of 12.5%.
