Great aroma with clear barrel character, in the form of spices and buttery notes. There are also notes of citrus, yellow apples, white peach and white flowers. The taste is intense with a long elegant finish, wonderfully tight with ringing focused acidity. Intensive manual vineyard care and culture from November to July, including pruning, ploughing, debudding, shot knitting, and selective spraying, emphasizing the importance of time and attention for high-quality wine production. Cellar process involves pre-fermentation cold maceration, followed by stainless steel tank fermentation, skin crushing, partial oak barrel aging, and natural malolactic fermentation at cellar temperature (13-14°C). After 12 months of ageing, the wine is pumped back to one tank for more ageing (6 months) before bottling. ABV 13%
