Vin des Amis cuvées exhibit a radiant violet color and showcase a captivating blend of mineral notes, dark berries, and licorice on the expressive nose. The palate offers a harmonious combination of gently sweet blackberry, blueberry, and bitter cherry flavors, with excellent clarity and a lively spiciness. The wine finishes with persistent tannins and a lingering presence of cherry and black pepper, accompanied by a delicate floral accent. Overall, these cuvées deliver a well-balanced and memorable tasting experience. The grapes used for these cuvées come from younger vines in Cornas planted since 1990, as well as from Clape's old Syrah vines in St. Pèray, some of which date back to 1895. This combination of vineyards results in wines that capture the essence of Old School Cornas, offering a unique and authentic expression of the region. Vin des Amis cuvées are reminiscent of traditional Cornas wines and are crafted using whole-cluster fermentation and aging in old barrels. ABV 13%
