Deep ruby color, purple undertone. Ripe nose with accents of red fruits, discreetly peppery. Fat and supple on the attack, a full, velvety style, which gives pride of place to the fruit. The aromas persist pleasantly. The estate’s oldest vines are selected to make this wine. They are between 70 and 100 years old. At this age the vines produce few grapes with smaller berries. After traditional vinification, the wine obtained is more concentrated. It's therefore a wine to keep. The aged vines have roots that plunge deep into the granite subsoil, the wonderful terroir of the Madone is therefore very intense in this cuvée, which retains its typicity and quality, whatever the vintage. The grapes are whole bunch fermented with 10-15 days of maceration. There is remontage twice a day but no pigeage. At the end of the elevage there is a light filtration and very little sulphur is then added. ABV 13%
