Beaune Clos de La Feguine 1er Cru Monopole

This intense and dark "red-black" Pinot Noir is sourced from a 1.59-hectare plot with steep, south-facing sun exposure. The nose offers captivating aromas of black berry fruits, while the palate showcases juicy black fruit flavors and ripe, well-integrated tannins. The vineyard's meagre clay-limestone soil, fractured limestone, and perfect drainage contribute to the wine's quality. After handpicking and destemming, the wine underwent an 18-day maceration in open oak vats with regular cap punch-downs. It completed malolactic fermentation and aged for 17 months in new oak barrels. The result is a powerful and harmonious wine. ABV 13.5%
