This wine displays an intense black-red color with vibrant purple reflections. The nose is highly expressive and rich, featuring floral notes of violet and rose, spicy nuances of clove, black pepper, and nutmeg, as well as enticing aromas of small red fruits like raspberry. On the palate, it offers a delicious and juicy fruitiness dominated by black fruits. The finish is characterized by refined and warm tannins. The vineyard is situated on the hill where the Grands Crus of Corton are located, benefiting from a south-east facing exposure and a slight slope that ensures optimal ripening. The stony clay-limestone soil, combined with the sun exposure, promotes early ripening regardless of the weather during the growing season. The grapes were carefully handpicked, sorted, with 28% of whole grapes and the rest destemmed. During alcoholic fermentation, the wine underwent a 20-day maceration in temperature-controlled open oak vats with twice-daily cap punch-downs. Complete malolactic fermentation took place, and the wine was aged entirely in oak barrels for a duration of 21 months. ABV 13%
