Meursault 1er Cru Charmes

The 2020 Meursault Les Charmes-Dessus 1er Cru has an engaging bouquet with honeysuckle, orange pith and even a touch of strawberry on the nose: forward and seductive, hints of yellow flowers emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and vibrant with touches of lime and nectarine on the entry. In Meursault-Charmes, you want to be in the higher (Dessus) section. Jean-Baptiste has three parcels, all at the top of the vineyard. Ageing for 16 to 18 months in barrels (25 % new barrels). ABV 13.5%
