100% Pinot Gris. Exuding a complex nose of brown pear, fig, cinnamon, baking spice, almonds, and brioche with subtle lavender undertones, this intense, barrel-influenced wine offers an off-dry, full-bodied Alsace-style experience. Its lush, rounded texture is complemented by warm baking spice and substantial phenolics on the lengthy finish. Sourced from Marlborough's Southern Valleys, mainly the Yarrum Vineyard, with its loess clay-loam soils, the hand-harvested grapes, primarily Dijon clones, were fermented with partial whole bunch inclusion. After pressing, the wine aged in French oak barriques (40% new), culminating in a rich and layered representation of the region's distinctive terroir. ABV 14%
