This wine presents a deeply dense red hue, exemplifying Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics with bright florals, cherry, oyster shell, leafy stalks, and redcurrant notes. Elegantly structured, it offers engaging ripe fruit flavors on the palate. With a medium to full depth and layered structure, the wine showcases a prominent yet silky tannin profile. The Coonawarra region experienced lower winter rainfall but sufficient for pre-budburst soil profiles. A warm spring and summer led to an earlier vintage, yielding rich and concentrated grapes. Similarly, the Barossa region had a moderate winter, followed by a warm, dry spring and summer with timely rainfall, resulting in well-balanced acidity and pristine fruit flavors. Maturation occurred over 21 months in a combination of French barriques, including 25% new ones, as well as older barrels. ABV 14%
