100% Syrah. This intensely deep crimson Barossa Shiraz exudes power with a graceful balance. Initial spicy blackberry aromas evolve into cracked black pepper, toffee, dark chocolate, and espresso coffee notes. Velvety and aromatic, the palate boasts full body with flavors of plum, blueberry, hazelnuts, clove, and cinnamon spices. Sourced from diverse Barossa vineyards with varying age and soil types, the wine embodies this terroir variation. Late winter and spring rains laid the foundation for a high-quality vintage, while a mild summer with cool nights allowed for the development of rich color, pristine aromatics, and flavors alongside natural acidity. Aged for 10 months in a mix of new Hungarian & French hogsheads and older barrels. ABV 14.5%
