Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Vergers 1er Cru has a touch more terroir expression and mineralité on the nose compared to the Les Chenevottes. The palate is taut and fresh with kernels of orange rind and sour lemon. Fine energy and good concentration on the finish, this is an excellent Chassagne that should age well in the cellar. Produced from Chardonnay grapes grown organically in the Premier Cru Les Vergers vineyard, in Chassagne Montrachet. vinified in the traditional way, by carrying out alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in a Burgundian piece.Aged in wood it lasts from 10 to 18 months depending on the vintage followed by bottling. Before bottling, the wines rest in steel for one to three months. ABV 13.5%
