Brilliant light ruby colour. A very open nose giving off a lot of energy welcomes the taster; notes mixed with spices, orange peel, herbs of Provence and ripe red fruits, even jammy, make up a precise nose, both sunny and fresh. The mouth takes up this sensation of crumpled leaves with a fresh minty side coupled with a discreet acidity. The typical liquorice aromas revolve around sweet tannins, a sign of a beautiful maturity of the grapes. The tasting ends with an invigorating tangy note of cherry stone. The wine comes from a terroir characterized by clay-limestone soil, with the vineyard boasting an impressive age of 39 years. Spanning across a surface area of 3 hectares, it yields a production of around 14,000 bottles. The grapes were carefully hand-harvested during the 2017 vintage, ensuring their perfect health. The maceration process lasted for 19 days, with two punch-downs performed daily. Following this, the wine was aged for a total of 21 months in oak barrels before being bottled on July 24th, 2019. ABV 13.5%
