Le Clos Du Gravillas' top wine is a remarkable expression of power and purity. The dark and velvety fruit in this wine is exceptionally delicious, showcasing a remarkable absorption of minerals. The flavors are reminiscent of ripe blueberries, intertwined with hints of licorice, tobacco, and subtle meaty undertones, leading to a lively and lingering finish. This exceptional wine originates from a single 2-hectare vineyard that exclusively features 100-year-old Carignan vines. Nicole and John Bojanowski, the estate's owners, have cherished these vines since acquiring the property in the 1990s. The winemaking approach is minimalistic, with virtually no sulfur usage. Fermentation occurs over approximately six months, followed by aging in 400-liter Allier oak barrels. ABV 14%
