Festive wine, as the label suggests. In summer it pops out of the glass like a true fruit bomb. Think cherry candies, candy canes and blooming lavender fields. Sufficient grip in mouthfeel, without being angular. Fortunately also low in alcohol, and pleasantly high in the acid. Also reminiscent of Jura red in minerality, but the Matassa signature is certainly also present. The vineyard management at this estate follows biodynamic principles, emphasizing a holistic and sustainable approach to agriculture. The winemaking process involves carbonic maceration and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, using whole clusters. ABV 12%
