Château Ferrière is located in Margaux, on the left-bank of Bordeaux. At 10ha, it is the smallest of the classified Crus Medoc. The estate is Third Grand Cru Classé under the classification of 1855.
The soils here are composed of the deep Garonne gravel and deposited limestone marls, ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon which traditionally makes up circa 65% of the blend.
