Margaux de Brane

The 2016 Margaux de Brane, produced by Chateau Brane-Cantenac, is a delicious and refined wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for a few more years. It showcases flavors of dark plum, chocolate, leather, licorice, and grilled herbs, with a focus on the succulent characteristics of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. The vineyards of Chateau Brane-Cantenac are situated west of the village of Cantenac in the prestigious Margaux appellation. The vineyard is planted with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Carmenère, and benefits from the fine, gravelly soils of the region. The winemaking process involves aging the wine in oak barrels for up to 18 months, with a portion of the barrels being new. ABV 13%
