Matassa Rouge

Matassa Rouge 2018 is a wine that displays aromas of red fruit, with spicy, mineral and smoky touches. On the palate it is fresh, intense, direct and linear. It is tasty and deep, with hints of coffee, mountain herbs, liquorice and juicy ripe fruits. The vineyard management at this estate follows biodynamic principles, emphasizing a holistic and sustainable approach to agriculture. Whole grapes are fermented with skin contact for the first 4 days through spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. Unfiltered and unfined. ABV 11%
