Mercurey Clos des Ruelles 1er Cru

A favourite among our Burgundy drinkers, the Clos des Ruelles premier cru typically delivers well above it's price band. A monopole climat of Chamirey, with two plots of south and south-east exposure on poor soils, prominent in limestone and oxidised iron. The vines here are old, planted between 1954 and 1980.
