Meursault-Santenots 1er Cru

The wine displays a luminous green-gold color with silver reflections. On the nose, it showcases purity and precision with spicy notes and a subtle touch of toastiness, opening up to hints of firestone. The palate is very fresh, sapid (with a grain of salt), and mouthwatering, exhibiting a vibrant tension and energy. It achieves a brilliant balance between its elements. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on a 0.80-hectare plot, the grapes were carefully handpicked into small crates and pressed in a pneumatic winepress. The juice underwent cold settling for 36 hours under temperature-controlled conditions. The entire process of alcoholic fermentation and aging took place in oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop complexity and depth. It underwent full malolactic fermentation and was aged in barrels for a duration of 19 months. ABV 12%
