The Château Dangay presents a fresh and expressive aromatic profile, showcasing vibrant red berries accompanied by subtle hints of spices. On the palate, it displays a medium-bodied structure with a soft and juicy texture that is beautifully balanced with delicate tannins. This St Emilion wine exudes elegance in its character. Formerly a part of Château Angelus, Château Dangay benefits from the unique qualities of its terroir. The coolness of the clay soils and the excellent natural drainage provided by the limestone contribute to the wine's overall quality. These factors play a crucial role in preserving the freshness and finesse that define this elegant St Emilion wine. Both modern and traditional, the vinification method takes place in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Attentive to its development, the cellar master regularly carries out gentle extractions, carried out by manual pumping over or pigeage. After this first vatting stage, which lasts 3 to 4 weeks, the wines will undergo their long malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats and/or in new barrels. The aging lasts 18 months, for 1/3 in new barrels, 1/3 in barrels of one wine, and the rest in stainless steel vats. ABV 13.5%
