Abbott Claim are a young and ambitious estate in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley. The estate vineyards sit on the Savannah Ridge and is composed of primeval, fractured, and well-draining oceanic sandstone. The vine rows are hemmed in by stands of Oregon white oak and Douglas fir; the microclimate here is a rainshadow, protected by the Dundee Hills to the east, the Chehalem Mountains to the north, and the Coast Range to the west.

The estate bottling beautifully captures the mosaic of vineyards at Abbott Claim. Seamless, long and confident, it's a stunning expression of Oregon Pinot Noir.
