Abbott Claim

Located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Abbott Claim is a young and ambitious project of the Beck family (also Graham Beck, Steenberg). In a short period of time, they have emerged as among the reference points for the region, and we are delighted to welcome these wines to the portfolio.

It's a stunning viticultural oasis, a microclimate protected by the Dundee Hills to the east, the Chehalem Mountains to the north, and the Coast Range to the west.

The soils are of ancient, fractured, and well-draining oceanic sandstone, whilst the team employ painstaking organic, biodynamic and regenerative practices. 

The vines were planted in 2006, with winemaker Alban Debeaulieu joining in 2017 and the inaugural release coming in 2018.

EOLA-AMITY HILLS
The yin to Abbott Claim Vineyard’s yang in the fog-shrouded
Eola-Amity Hills, where the focus is on Chardonnay. Vines were planted in 2021 on steeply sloped and surrounded by forest. As they await those vines to come into production, Abbott Claim source fruit from prestigious neighboring partners, including legendary X Omni and Temperance Hill vineyards.
