Petit Meslier Extra Brut

The NV Extra Brut Petit Meslier from Laherte is an exceptional wine, exuding rich and effusive characteristics. It displays tremendous aromatic intensity and depth, with notes of yellow flowers, mint, spice, lemon confit, and marzipan. The elements are well balanced, providing depth and vinous intensity. This particular release comprises 50% 2019, 40% 2018, and 10% 2017, with a dosage of 2 grams per liter, and was disgorged in December 2021.

Antonio Galloni, in November 2022, praised these new releases from Laherte, noting that many of the wines are softer than usual, likely due to the warmer base vintages. He admired the purity and singularity of expression in these Champagnes, highlighting their varietal and site character. Organic/biodynamic farming and a minimalist approach in the cellar contribute to the distinctiveness of these wonderful Champagnes. ABV 13%
