This deep ruby-red wine exhibits a nose filled with aromas of cherries, raspberries, and subtle hints of cocoa. On the palate, it offers a delightful combination of soft, deep, and fresh red fruit flavors, accompanied by a smooth and glossy mouthfeel. Towards the back of the mouth, citrusy notes and tannins add complexity, leading to a persistent finish with a touch of grilled orange peel. The 13 hectares of Gamay vines are primarily located in Morgon, with a small parcel in Cotes du Py. The average age of the vines is 60 years, and the winemaking follows organic principles, including handpicking the grapes and minimal intervention in the cellar. aging in 200 year-old foudres and bottling with little or no SO2.
