Lynch-Bages 2012 is characterized by an aromatic nose, blending fresh fruit with subtle oak nuances. It offers a satisfying mouthfeel, showcasing ripe plum flavors and a firm tannin structure. The wine displays good drive and energy, with excellent depth and acidity, indicating its potential for fine aging. The unique combination of deep gravels and clayey soils helped mitigate the effects of water deficit, ensuring the grapes remained healthy. Harvesting commenced in late September due to rain, and the grapes were hand-picked and sorted at the vineyard. Afterward, the wine was aged in wooden barrels, 75% of which were new, for a period of 18 months. ABV 13%
