Crozes-Hermitage La Guiraude

This Crozes-Hermitage wine is a captivating blend of expressive aromas and flavors. It showcases cassis, cherry-cola, exotic spices, and pungent flowers on the nose. The palate reveals depth, energy, and a range of sweet black and blue fruit, allspice, salty olive, and candied violet flavors. With a mineral undertone and youthful, chewy tannins, it offers a long and focused finish that echoes the floral and mineral notes. The vineyards in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation benefit from diverse soils, including sandy areas. The grapes undergo vinification with stems for several weeks in stainless steel vats, followed by a cold maceration without sulphur. After aging in small Burgundy casks and blending, the wine is bottled to further develop its complexity. ABV 14%
