Domaine Jean Foillard

Arguably the most important domaine of a generation, Morgon based Domaine Jean Foillard was founded in 1980 by namesake vigneron Jean Foillard. Jean is among the famous ‘Gang of Four’ who paved the path for a resurgence of the Beaujolais reputation, through better (organic farming), highlighting individual terroirs and by employing traditional, high level vinification practices. Outside of Beaujolais, the practices here contributed to the modern-day revival of low intervention, sustainable wine production
