The bouquet of this wine is characterized by ripe and generous aromas, with pure scents of maraschino cherries, wild strawberries, and hints of blueberry. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannins, providing good depth and grip. Towards the finish, there are notes of brown spices that add complexity and contribute to its overall length. The vineyards are planted in Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru. All grapes are destemmed before spending 7 days in a cold soak with minimal pumpovers. Fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts before the grapes are pressed. Ageing is between 12 to 14 months on fine lees and no racking, with Grand Cru wines seeing 40% new oak. ABV 13.5%
