Syrah planted at elevation (300m) on sandy soil over granite, at the northern limit of the St Joseph appellation bordering the Côte-Rôtie. Here, St Joseph Syrah takes on a real brightness and aromatic intensity shouldered on black fruit, with red berries, peppery spice and ripe herbs. Always beautiful and a crowd favourite of Verzier.
