Jansz

At the north-east of Tasmania’s rugged coast sits Pipers River, with rich & free draining basalt soils. The microclimate here attracted the Champagne powerhouse Louis Roederer to established vineyards in 1986. The Hill- Smith family acquired the property in 1998 & set about establishing Jansz as one of the most highly regarded sparkling wine producers in Tasmania.
