Bouzeron 'Les Bouillottes’

A new addition to our selection from Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils. First bottled in the 2014 vintage, Les Bouillottes completes Amiot's range of Aligoté (“Les Grands Champs” in Chassagne-Montrachet). Bouzeron is one of five appellations in the Côte Chalonnaise, and closest to their domaine in Chassagne-Montrachet. It is also the only recognised AOC for Aligoté in Burgundy, where it is planted in the best slopes, a rarity relative to Chardonnay elsewhere. 

Les Bouillottes is exclusively cultivated on the upper slopes on land composed of white marl with a predominantly limestone base. Vineyard age 45 years.
