Côte-Rôtie Améthyste

The Côte-Rôtie Améthyste is 100% Syrah, from vineyards planted in both the Côte-Brune and Côte-Blonde, as well as in the Baleyat, Chavaroche and Mollard lieux-dits.

First produced by Levet in 2006, the wine sees a good portion of whole-bunches in the fermentation, and is matured in oak casks. 

The resulting wine shows all the lift, spice and florals of signature Côte-Rôtie, alongside a core of fleshy, red and blue fruit. The wine fans out with aeration, with a gently savoury undertow.
