Côtes du Jura Chardonnay ‘Les Chalasses' Vieilles Vignes

Ganevat's Jura Chardonnay bridges Burgundy-style winemaking craftsmanship with the unique, high-acid, mineral-driven terroir of the Jura region.

Les Chalasses is an iconic bottling from Ganevat, produced from a centenarian vineyard planted in 1902 on red and grey marl soils. Biodynamically farmed.

The wine spends 4 years on barrel on the lees, employing the ouillé method (topped up). 

Textural, almost full bodied, with a little smoky reduction and stunning varietal character and a line of acidity to balance.
