Vin de France ‘Madelon’ Rouge

Jean-François Ganevat's negoce label, sees the domaine sourcing exciting vineyards outside of the Jura appellation. Often, blending different appellations, resulting in the Vin de France designation. 

The Madelon Rouge a great example. Gamay sourced from the Cru of Morgon in Beaujolais, blended with the indigenous varietals of the Jura. Old vines between 6-80 years age and cross the granite soils of Beaujolais and limestone of the Jura. Practicing Biodynamic viticulture.

Vinified and bottled without sulphur additions. Supple and expressive with wild red and dark berries and savoury depth. For fans of natural and lively reds.
