Named after Jean-François' youngest son, Antide is produced from old vine Savagnin.

Savagnin is the flagship varietal of the Jura, famously used in production of Vin Jaune (yellow wine). The varietal is rarely found outside of the appellation, and is restrained in character, yet an important parent varietal to Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc.

It produces white wines with outstanding cellar potential. Firm and compact in youth and filling out with restrained yellow fruit, wax, floral and saline characters with age.

Unlike a Vin Jaune, the 'Antide' is Savagnin topped (ouillé method) up during maturation.

Extended aging on the lees (4 years) to coax out Savagnin's unique traits. Full bodied, waxy and saline, with a thrilling acid line. Irresistible now, but built for an upward trajectory.
