A single vineyard expression of Poulsard (also Ploussard) from 50+ year old vines. Ganevat employs biodynamic farming in the vineyard, producing and bottling this wine without additives in the cellar.

Poulsard is an indigenous varietal of the Jura, and rarely seen outside of the appellation. Here, it is also complimented with Enfariné, an ancient varietal thought to be extinct and not yet allowed to be named in the appellation wines.

This is a signature Ganevat Poulsard. Pale red with orange highlights. Aromas of rosehip, wild red berries and blood orange. Gently spicy, sappy and with a lemon like acidity. Highly individual.

Served chilled, it pairs wonderfully with regional French charcuterie, cured ham, prosciutto, and smoked duck or pork sausages, or with local Jura cheeses like nutty Comté or creamy Morbier. It's also a rare red that suits fatty or grilled fish like seared salmon or tuna. Or try it with an earthy dish, like mushroom risotto.
