Sancerre Blanc 'Chambrates'

The 2020 Sancerre Chambrates is a clean and pure wine with excellent focus. It's already open, offering richness and roundness. The clay-based soil provides appealing palate breadth while the finest of textures coats the mouth. Mouthwatering acidity combines with appealing pear and apple flavors on the precise finish. Chambrates is located on a plateau above Le Paradis on limestone and red clay soils. This is a generous example of Sancerre due to its terroir with more of a citric quality to the fruit, a richer texture and a mineral finish. In the cellar, the grapes are hand-harvested and undergo natural yeast fermentation in tanks. Aging for 12 months in foudres. ABV 13%
